In modern society, a variety of foods are available, easily purchased, and many people can try a variety of products. For many people this can be a great convenience and a way to better manage their health, but for some it is not. In the case of the elderly, it is often difficult to see what the food is made of due to low vision, hand tremors, etc. Additionally, even those who have allergies or chronic diseases are experiencing discomfort due to these changes in the world because they must pay great attention to their nutritional intake. Our DNA focused on these inconveniences and developed a camera-based nutritional analysis app targeting people with low vision and the elderly. This app provides functions to easily identify and analyze the nutrition facts label consisting of small print. Users can freely set their age, gender, disease information, and allergy information to receive customized analysis results. Based on the stored personal information, the nutritional information table captured using camera OCR technology is analyzed to provide allergy information and nutritional information for the food in easy-to-view charts and large letters. In addition, based on the personal information saved by the user, allergy information and major nutrients to be aware of are analyzed and provided. Based on the last intake record, we provide customized information for each individuals disease and allergy according to the total daily intake. To make the information more accessible to people with low vision, a function to listen to the analysis results is provided so that users can more easily understand the information. The various functions of our app can improve convenience and accessibility for the elderly. In the future, DNA plans to update several features to enable better nutrition for more people. 1. Real-time notification: We plan to display daily analysis reports in real-time notifications so you can figure out which nutrients you need to consume more. 2. Addition of disease: Only three types of disease information are supported in v1.0.0, but we will update it later to add more disease information and support information appropriate for the users personal condition. 3. Improvement of OCR function: We will improve usability by updating to enable shooting in any environment. 4. Additional types of nutritional information provided: In addition to the main ingredients included in most nutritional information tables, we plan to provide accurate information by adding information such as fiber and vitamins.
